The Carroll Park Association welcomes filming in our neighborhood. However, we request that production companies interested in filming in Carroll Park make a donation of at least $2,000/day to the Association to compensate our residents for the disruption caused by filming. Donations made to the Carroll Park Association support mission-focused activities and programs for its members.
Separately, the City of Long Beach Film Office coordinates and facilitates the permit process and serves as a liaison with local government, the community and the production industry. The role of the film staff is to provide service and assistance to film, television, music, commercial production and still photography businesses to promote economic prosperity. The permitting office and permit applications are available through the City of Long Beach website, with details on insurance requirements and other pertinent information.
